Surat: Surat RTO earned Rs 32,17,263 revenue through auction of 357 golden and silver category numbers for GJ 05 RA series of four-wheelers. Rs 7,48,419 sum was earned through auction of golden numbers while Rs 3,14,300 was earned through auction of 21 silver numbers. Rs 3.18 lakh(which is equal to a value of basic car) was earned for number 01 while number 111 attracted Rs 85,000 bid. Rs 09 earned Rs 42,200 while number 07 and 9000 earned Rs 41,000 in each case. Bids were invited for 7 golden numbers, 21 silver numbers, 18 allotted numbers and 311 single numbers.
