Huge protest events against film Padmavati release held in Gandhinagar and Surat

Gandhinagar: A huge gathering of around 1 lakh people took place in Gandhinagar Ram Katha ground today against the release of upcoming Hindi movie Padmavati. The gathering was organized by Shri Rajput Karni Sena which is based in neighboring Rajasthan state.
Another big protest event against Padmavati movie was held in Surat city in South Gujarat. Hindus mainly from Rajput community marched in a rally led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and participated by around three dozen organizations including Karni Sena and Bajrang Dal.
