Gujarat BJP holds meeting, Instructs polling agents for counting day

A meeting of BJP was held at its Gujarat headquarter Shrikamalam near here today which was chaired by state president Jeetu Vaghani and attended among other by CM Vijay Rupani and DyCM Nitin Patel.
The Gujarat in-charge of the party and its national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav also attended the meeting held two days before the December 18 counting for the assembly polls.
A BJP leader said that all the polling agents of the party for all 182 constituencies and in-charge of model code of conduct in these segments also remained present in the meeting.
He claimed that BJP as predicted by all the post poll exit polls will win Gujarat elections and the party leaders today also guided our activists to deal with the possible ruckus by Congress in such a situation.
He also said that several issues regarding counting were also discussed and guidelines were given to the polling agents in the wake of the counting involving VVPATs.
Notably for the first time polling on all the booths in Gujarat this time has been done with VVPAT attached EVMs.
The leader said that the polling agents were instructed to take certain precautions during counting on all the 37 centers.
