Revenue Minister urges voluntary organizations to continue noble works of serving cows

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Revenue Minister Mr. Kaushikbhai Patel today expressed that the state government is determined to make ‘Gau Seva’ (Serving Cows) and ‘Gau Raksha’ (Protecting Cows) and have taken numerous measures in this direction.
Mr. Patel asserted that adopting a humanitarian approach towards the cows, Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani has decided to supply 4-kg of fodder per day at rate of Rs. 2/- per animal. Enough quota of fodder is being supplied to the district collectors and they have been given directives to ensure enough drinking water for the cows.
The Revenue Minister praised the activities of voluntary organizations for taking traditional self-initiative to donate funds towards this noble cause.
Mr. Patel urged the organizers of the Gau Shalas to continue their noble services and assured them that the government is ready to render all possible helps to them.
