Gandhinagar: IPS Shobha Bhutada will be a new District Superintendent of Police(SP) of Patan district while Nilesh Jajadia will be the District Superintendent of Police of Mahesana district. Yesterday, the Gujarat government had announced transfers of 66 IPS officers. Among them were the names of Bhutada and Jajadia. While Bhutada was shifted as Mahesana SP, Jajadia was shifted as Patan SP. Now within a day, the government has announced reposting of both. Jajadia, a 2006 batch IPS officer was earlier SP Junagadh. Bhutada is also 2006 batch IPS. She was earlier SP Porbandar.
