Loader, carrier held at Ahmedabad airport for smuggling of gold

Ahmedabad: A carrier from Mumbai who is identified as Shahrukh has been nabbed at Ahmedabad airport for smuggling of one and half kg gold.
Air Intelligence Unit(AIU) of Customs department early in the morning today stopped one loader Vrushabh who works in a private company – Arun Aviation. Rushabh was trying to bypass the customs channel with luggage of one passenger Shahrukh. When stopped and checked, one and half kg gold worth Rs 45 lakh was found inside luggage. Shahrukh and Vrushabh are nabbed and being questioned. Another loader Mahendra Jhala who works in Jet Sky as loader is out of bound. A loader when nabbed complained that the company had not paid him for last three months.
Shahrukh had arrived at the airport in a flight from gulf country.
