One year old lioness found dead in village of Junagadh, bacterial infection induced heart failure caused death

Junagadh:The incident of death of a lion due to reported bacterial infection in Malia hatina area close to Gir forests in Junagadh has come to fore.
A forest official said that the around one year old lioness was found dead near Amarapur village recently.
During postmortem prima facie it was established that the beast died of heart failure caused by some bacterial infection.
The FSL probe of the death of the beast was also on, the official said.
