Leopard enters court premises in Chotila town of Gujarat

Surendranagar: In a somewhat bizarre incident a wild leopard today entered a court premises in Chotila town of Surendranagar district in Gujarat during working hours.
The leopard, which had probably strayed from the Nava beat of Thangadh forests, also entered in a room in the Taluka level court.
Police said that seeing the leopard in the court premises people started running here and there. Amid all the chaos the beast entered in to the room of clerk of the first class judicial magistrate court. There was no body in the room and people locked it quickly from outside.
Police said that the forest officials were intimated who would after tranquilizing the leopard cage it and take away.
Notably, Chotila is also famous for the temple of mother Chamunda situated atop a hill.
