It was said that Baba Ramdev attracted more people than Narendra Modi in Shahibag Police Stadium, Ahmedabad on the occasion of Uttarayan.

Baba Ramdev had his Yoga shibir in Valsad, he addressed Yoga shibir at 4 A.M. and then in a special chopper sent by Modi he came to Ahmedabad to attend Uttarayan function. He then was in a open jeep with Narendra Modi waving his hand to the crowd in the stadium. He soon went back to Valsad to attend his Yoga shibir again.
