Narendra Modi to address Gujaratis in Canada via satellite

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will address Gujaratis in Canada LIVE via satellite video conferencing on 20th September at 6:00 AM Indian standard time(19th September, 2008 at 8.30 pm Canadian Time) from his Gandhinagar resident.
An organisation ‘Canadian friends of Gujarat’ supported by ‘Canada India Foundation’ has organized special dinner in which Narendra Modi’s speech would be telecast LIVE at Pearson Convention Centre, 2638 Steeles Avenue East, Brampton(Steeles Ave/Airport Road), Ontario. CFG has also arranged a One and half hour audio visual presentation on Gujarat’s development at the venue.
“The program is organized for understanding of Vibrant Gujarat and contribution to Gujarat state’s Girl child education fund,” State government’s official note said.
Narendra Modi’s address would be available via video webcast live on internet too simultaneously.
According to the advertisement published by ‘Canadian Friends of Gujarat’ in Canada based Gujarati newspaper, $1500 will be charged for corporate table, $750 for VIP table, $30 for one person and $300 per regular table. “All net proceeds from the evening will go towards the Kanya Kelvani Yojna, a charitable fund managed by the Chief Minister with a long term goal that no girl child in Gujarat remains illiterate,” an advertisement declares.
