Resident Doctors strike over stipend hike ends in Gujarat

After getting a written assurance by state health secretary Ravi Saxena over fax to think over genuine demands of the doctors sympathetically, resident doctors in Gujarat have called off their strike. Spokes person of striking doctors, Vivek Patel said, the strike has been called off and doctors would be back on duty within hours. The government has pulled back all the actions it had taken on the striking doctors such as termination, suspension and deregistration.
