Modi spends new year morning with God,Governor and Gujaratis

Chief Minister Shree Narendra Modi spent his Gujarati new year morning with God, Governor and Gujaratis in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
Modi visited Gandhinagar sector 22 based Panchdev mandir at 7:30 A.M. and participated in Aarti there. He was then available to receive public greetings at Gandhinagar’s Ministerial Enclave based Chief Minister’s Bungalow No.1 where hundreds of well wishers greeted him ‘Sal Mubarak, Happy New Year, Nutan Varsha Abhinandan’. Modi then visited Governor’s house – Rajbhavan to wish Governor a happy new Gujarati Vikram Samvat year.
Modi then drove to Ahmedabad’s Bhadrakali mandir. Gujarat Vidhansabha Speaker Shri Ashok Bhatt and Mayor of Ahmedabad Shri Kanaji Thakor accompanied him here. Modi sought blessings of Mata Bhadrakali and then was available to accept greetings from common public at Ahmedabad’s Shahibag Circuit house Annexee.
In byte given to electronic media outside Mahakali Mandir Modi said, “it is specialty of Gujarat that next day after Diwali is celebrated as new year day here. This is Golden jubilee year of Gujarat and I wish people would take pledge to do something for the country. Crores of pledges together will push Gujarat much ahead in direction of development and prosperity.”
