Narendra Modi condoles Gautam Adani’s mother Shantaben’s death

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today condoled Adani Group Chairman Shri Gautam Adani’s mother Shantaben Shantilal Adani’s death. Modi offered flowers on late Shantaben’s body in Ahmedabad.
Gautam Adani’s mother passed away on Friday afternoon at Shelby hospital on S.G.Highway. She was 75, and suffering from an illness.
Shantaben has five sons – Mahasukh, VInod, Vasant, Gautam and Rajesh, and three daughters. Her second son, Vinod has settled down in Dubai(he is known there as Vinod Shah). After Vinod and, sisters reached Ahmedabad, Shantaben was taken to Thaltej crematorium on S.G.Highway for cremation on Saturday morning.
Shantaben’s condolence meeting is scheduled on Sunday morning at Golden Glory hall of Karnavati Club on S.G.Highway.
Shantaben originally from Tharad in north Gujarat, migrated to Ahmedabad with her husband Shantilal Adani and lived at Sheth ni pol in Ratanpol area of the wall city initially. She was actively involved in various philanthropic activities.
