Kenyan Vice President, trade minister and delegation meet Modi

A 14-member business delegation from Kenya headed by Kenyan Vice President Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka today met Chief Minister Shri Narendra Mody at Gandhinagar and discussed to develop mutually beneficial areas for both the parties.
In the meeting, it was decided to jointly organize an international seminar on port development and start direct flights between Gujarat and Kenya as the large number of Gujarati people have settled in Kenya and African countries.
Dr.Musyoka praised Chief Minister’s leadership and the Gujarat’s development under his headship.
Kenyan members also showed interest in opening a trade relation office in Gujarat as there are many areas like medical tourism, technical education and agro-food processing where there are similarities between Gujarat and Kenya and mutually fruitful trade is possible.
Principal Secretary for Industries Shri Maheshwar Sahu and MD of GIDB and Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri A.K.Sharma along with other government officials were also present on the occasion.
