In his iconic style Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi speaking at GJEPC function in Surat today morning raised Surat air connectivity issue.
Modi said, “Sanjaybhai told me that there’s problem of connectivity and I should say something about airport.”
He further said, “I wonder, a vibrant city of this scale and size of economy in India, I can’t understand what is the problem the central government has. There’s no reason. There’s absolutely no reason.”
“We say we need planes for our economical development and not for mauj maja. I told them that here are the people who can have their own planes, for them plane is not big thing and we need flights for development here,” Modi said.
“But I don’t know whenever Gujarat’s ‘G’ comes, what happens to them, now wait for some time. Everything will be alright, thank you,” he added.
People present at the function kept guessing what exactly Modi meant by assuring that everything would be alright.
Was he meaning that his party or he himself is all set to come to power in centre post next Lok Sabha election? Well you can keep guessing!
