Narendra Modi addresses students of IIT Gandhinagar(Video)

Speaking at Ahmedabad’s Chandkheda based campus of Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today said a new state-of-the-art campus of IIT Gandhinagar will come up near Palaj-Vasan over 400-acre land. Modi announced state government’s decision to allot a plot for this purpose on 99-year lease for just Re.1.
Emphasizing on infrastructure, the Chief Minister said that 10 years ago while Gujarat’s only four per cent houses had facility of tap water supply, today the figure is 74%. He said that rate of urbanization has decreased by 33% due to availability of three-phase power round the clock in all 18,000 villages.
