While Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s district level Sadbhavana fast in Dwarka town of Jamangar district is powered by local administration and local BJP network, Congress MP Vikram Madam on the other side has attempted to attract common people by arranging cultural programmes at his counter-fast venue.

Madam’s fast is so far witnessing the presence of local Congress cadre and larger circle influenced by them.

Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia has managed to send Maher community’s traditional dance group to Madam’s counter-fast. Thia group of Maher dancers has performed at various locations in India and abroad.

Also a Dhamal group of Sidi dancers is going to perform at Congress MP’s counter-fast.

Couple of days back addressing a local press conference, Congress MP Madam had said that if government gives him Rs 2 crore, he can gather double the number of people compare to Modi’s fast.
