Ahmedabad based 87-year old veteran magician K.Lal is world famous for his magic shows.

His son Hasubhai is 61-year old and famous as Junior K.Lal. He too is active in the field of magic.

But Hasubhai aka Junior K.Lal’s both sons are not into magic. His one son Nil is working in Cisco in Bangalore as IT engineer, while other son Preyas lives with K.Lal in Ahmedabad and he is a Chemical engineer.

Most people – fans of K.Lal’s magic – generally feel sad that the great tradition of K.Lal’s magic might possibly vanish with Junior K.Lal in future.

But today, in an inaugural function of three-day long Indian magician meet in Ahmedabad, K.Lal declared from the stage that his great-grandson and Junior K.Lal’s grandson Vihan would continue the tradition of magic in future.

Amidst voice of applause, Shri K.Lal called Vihan on stage and introduced him to magicians present in the hall.

“I had no interest in performing magic from deep inside, and therefore I couldn’t join grandfather and my father in their profession of magic. I feel sad sometime for that too, because I feel myself responsible for discontinuation of family’s tradition. But my son Vihan seems interested in magic, and looking at his interest, I will have to allow him to join his grand father and great grand father,” Vihan’s father Preyasbhai – son of Junior K.Lal said.

“Rehan is only five-year old at present. His age of learning the magic tricks will begin now. He mixes well with his grandfather Junior K.Lal and would start learning basic tricks of magic from him soon,” Preyasbhai added.

Speaking about Vihan’s possible entry into the field of magic, Shri K.Lal said that he was planning to introduce Vihan next year with his own performance of magic.
