Gujarat Congress’s one of the most senior and most powerful leaders, UPA Chairperson smt Sonia Gandhi’s political secretary and Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat Shri Ahmed Patel today visited Gujarat Congress headquarter in Paldi area of of Ahmedabad.
Visiting the Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Ahmed Patel interacted with the party persons.
During his visit to various sections of Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Ahmed Patel especially took great interest in offering his suggestions on creating better facilities for media.
Late in the evening on Thursday, Shri Ahmed Patel interacted with Gujarat Congress MLAs in a special session. Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia who was present at the party headquarter to welcome the leader told media persons that since Ahmedbhai had not met the MLAs after he was elected to Rajya Sabha, this session was organized.
During his four day Gujarat visit, Ahmed Patel will go to his native village Piraman in Bharuch district and stay there for three days to supervise a health camp organized by his family.
Congress leaders Nishith Vyas, Himmatsinh Patel, MP Jagdish Thakor, Shri Jayantilal Parmar, former MLA Balwantsinh Rajpur, spokesperson Manish Doshi were among those present at the party office during Ahmed Patel’s visit.
Mansa discussion
Shri Ahmed Patel discussed strategy for victory in Mansa by-election with party workers from Gandhinagar district during his party headquarter visit. According to party sources, Shri Ahmed Patel asked party leaders to ensure that party’s committed voters complete their voting early on polling day.
