Last week-end Himesh Reshammiya was in Rajkot to give performance in a concert. A day before the event, he talked to media persons covering mainly three subjects; his ongoing progress in the world of film-making and acting, his musical work in the films, and his yet-to-release international album.

Co-producing a film with Akshay Kumar

“I am producing a film ‘Khiladi 786’ with Akshay Kumar who also plays a title role. Akshay’s role in this film is amazing. The shooting of this film has already started. I am having fun in producing the film,” Himesh said about his film activity.

Gave 552 songs, wants to give three times more now

On his musical activities, Himesh said, “as a composer, my many films like Sanam Sardar and others will be releasing soon. This all after the success of my music in the film BodyGuard, thanks to Salmanbhai’s blessings. As I took one and half year break, I could create a good size of content. I am trying to do the best. I started my career in very young age. Now again with a new zeal,with Saraswati mata’s blessings, I want to give three times more content than I have already given which is 552 songs and 103 films.

International album is a big thing to happen

Speaking about his international project, Himesh said, “I am working on my first international album. 15 songs of this album are ready. My company HR Music and Universal music will release this album ‘at the age’ in 122 countries. Many international artists are part of this project. All songs of the album are composed and sung by me. It will be a unique project in which an Indian rockstar will go for international English release. I had sent them different type of music and they liked it. I will have to go abroad for three months to promote the album, In America they go to every radio station to promote the album and publicity of the album demands efforts of three months. The video of my album will be directed by a director who has directed Justin Bieber’s songs. Release date of my international album is not fixed yet, but it’s a very large scale project, near to my heart, it’s a different attempt.”
