The Gujarat government has today declared formation of three new districts Morbi, Dwarka and Mahisagar.

The Gujarat government also declared new talukas of Galteshvar, Fagvel, Vaghai and Lakhani.

The districts and talukas will come to exist from 26 January 2013.

The government has announced 7 new districts and 20 new talukas so far in this poll season.
