High Court not inclined to grant him bail, Vismay Shah withdraws petition

Ahmedabad BMW hit and run case accused Vismay Shah today withdrew his bail application from the Gujarat high court. Vismay had applied for bail in the high court after Ahmedabad court rejected his bail plea.
The High Court was today not inclined to grant him bail and hence he withdrew his bail plea. The court has given him liberty to file for bail plea after the police files chargesheet in the case.
Now Vismay has two options: He can either go to the Supreme Court, or he can file regular bail plea in the High Court, after police files chargesheet in this case. For now, he will continue to stay in judicial custody in Sabarmati Jail.
Two youths riding a motorbike were killed in BMW car accident involving Vismay Shah in Ahmedabad’s Vastrapur area. Vismay had left the place of accident and surrendered before police only after two days possibly to evade unfavorable outcome in alcohol taste.
