Changes in rules at Railway Reservation Office of Ahmedabad railway station

Under the direction of Divisional Railway Manager Alok Kumar Tiwari, reservation windows at reservation office of Ahmedabad railway station have been classified.
Window no. 2 for women
No. 3 for senior citizens, foreign tourist, MP, MLA, handicapped, press
No. 4 for gents for their own tickets
No. 5 for credit card, circular ticket, pass holders and PTO
No. 6 for authentic RTS
No. 7 to 12 common travelers
While all windows listed above will function only during 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, windows no. 11 and 12 will remain open till 10.00 pm for reservation.
The token display method has been implemented at reservation centre. Two token numbers are displayed at one time. Waiting premises has been set up for other travelers.
Along with biometric system, a person is deployed at reservation center during 8-9 am and 10-11 am(tatkal) who notes down the details of reservation seekers with address and phone number.
