A new picture of proposed Statue of Unity

Presented here is a new photo of proposed statue of unity – the tallest statue of the world, featuring Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Ground breaking for this statue project will be held on 31st October at Kevadia colony near Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam in presence of thousands of people.
Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today held a special meeting of his ministers on the subject of Statue of Unity project and showed a presentation.
Yesterday Shri Modi in his speech at Surat said that iron collection drive shall be kicked off covering 7 lakh villages of India from 31st October. Shri Modi said that a visitor will be able to see the world from the eyes of the statue once it’s ready.
