Gujarat High Court rejects plea against Statue of Unity

The Gujarat High Court today rejected a PIL challenging the Gujarat government’s decision to build the statue of unity featuring Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The PIL challenged the state government’s decision to spend huge public money on this project.
The court in its order said that if government’s decision on construction of statue project is not good, voters can take their decision when they go to vote.
