After Ahmedabad, Rajkot now Surat gets BRTS

After Ahmedabad and Rajkot, the city of Surat has become the third city in Gujarat to have Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS).
The first stretch of BRTS service was launched today on the occasion of Republic day.
The service will be free for one month for passengers. After 26 February, ticket system will be effective.
The service has been launched with six AC buses.
