In pictures: Swarnim Sankul – 2 inaugurated in Gandhinagar

A Rs. 90 crore building, Swarnim Sankul-2 was opened today morning by Narmada department’s elderly Adivasi employee Maganbhai Shambhuji Ninama in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi and other ministers in Gandhinagar secretariat campus.
Guided by architect Bimal Patel, Chief Minister Modi visited various parts of building after lighting a lamp in reception area. Chief Minister stayed inside the building for around twenty minutes.
Swarnim Sankul-2 is centrally AC, earthquake proof green building and with fire safety provisions. It is equipped with CCTV cameras and X-ray scanners. The four-storeyed building has reception area, convention hall, committee rooms, space for personal staff. It has chambers of ministers of state on second, third and fourth floors. Committee rooms are named as Saraswati, Saputara, Pavagadh, Dwarka and Shetrunjay.
Second floor:Rajnikantbhai Patel, Govindbhai Patel, Nanubhai Vanani, Jayatibhai Kavadia, Jayesh Radadia.
Third floor: Vasuben Trivedi, Pradipsinh Jadeja, Chhatrasinh Mori, Vasanbhai Ahir, Jaydrathsinh Parmar
Fourth floor: Parshottam Solanki, Liladhar Vaghela, Jaswantsinh Bhabhor, Parbat Patel, Dilip Thakor.
Last year, Swarnim Sankul-1 was opened by a class-4 tribal employee. Swarnim Sankul-1 houses offices of Chief Minister and cabinet ministers.
