Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be in Rajkot on Monday to perform ground breaking for ambitious Saurashtra Narmada Avataran Irrigation(SAUNI) Yojana.
Modi will attend the function at 9:30 at Race Course ground in the city. It is expected that over 1200 state transport buses will come with people from across the 11 districts.
The Government of Gujarat has planned to link 115 dams of the region with Narmada water with pipeline. The project was announced just before the assembly general elections in year 2012.
