Shaktidoot scheme: Gujarat govt invites applications from sportspersons

Sports Authority of Gujarat has launched Shaktidoot scheme to extend assistance to sportsperson in Gujarat. Those who want to apply may visit www.sportsauthorityofgujarat.in or www.sycd.gov.in before 30th June 11.59 pm. A copy of application has to be sent to Secretary, SAG, Block no. 14/3, Dr. Jivraj Mehta Bhavan, Gandhinagar by 7 July.
Games recognized by School Games Federation of India, Common Wealth Games, Asian Games, Afro Asian Games and Olympic will be considered valid. Applicants need to be in 12-20 age group. In special cases, government will take decision on application of those not in this age group. Players who won recognized All India Federation organized open junior/sub junior national and internationally recognized games are able to apply.
