Pramukh Swami likely to fly to America in August

Once it is fully constructed, New Jersey in America will get a Hindu mandir having largest campus outside India.
Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha(BAPS) is all set to hold a grand Pratishtha mahotsav(inauguration event) of new mandir during 8-10 August.
Around two lakh followers of BAPS Swaminarayan sect are likely to attend the ceremony from across the world. Economy class seats of all flights connecting Ahmedabad(Gujarat,India) to New Jersey are booked in first ten days of August due to rush to attend this function.
Two years back Pramukhswami maharaj had performed puja of murti of New Jersey mandir in India. Pramukh Swami who is presently at Sarangpur in Gujarat is likely to reach America on 5 August if doctors permit him to travel after his medical checkup. Physically weak due to age factor, Pramukh Swami had lastly paid visit to foreign countries in year 2007.
Swaminarayan mandir at Robbinsville in New Jersey is under construction at present. It will take several years to complete the construction work. Once ready, it will be known as Akshardham. It will be the largest Hindu mandir campus outside India.
