Modi to meet Emperor Akihito and PM Shinzo Abe during Japan visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Japan between August 31 and September 3 this year.
Modi will meet the Emperor of Japan, Akihitio, besides Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe during his visit.
“During his (PM Modi’s) stay in Japan, the Prime Minister will be received in audience by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a meeting and host a dinner for the Prime Minister. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Prime Minister, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and India,” a statement from the Japanese Embassy said.
As a Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Modi has visited Japan in year 2007 and 2012.

Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Japan from 31 August to 03 September, 2014. During the visit, Prime Minister will have an audience with His Majesty The Emperor of Japan and will hold the Annual Summit meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
India and Japan have a Strategic and Global Partnership. The visit of Prime Minister to Japan will further strengthen the bonds of friendship between India and Japan.
