The best part of Narendra Modi’s last phase of America visit was this(presented in the video above). President Obama after summit with Narendra Modi accompanied him to Martin Luther King Jr’s memorial. India’s Ministery of External Affairs(MEA) Spokesperon Syed Akbaruddin in his tweed described this gesture as unprecedented.

He tweeted, “another unprecedented gesture. President Barack Obama accompanied Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial.”

The highlights of outcome of Indo-US summit and other statements associated with that are following:

-India US to work together on disrupting financial and tactical support for terror organization LeT, JeM, D-company and Haqqani network.

-India-US agree on joint and concerted efforts, including dismantling of safe havens for terrorist and criminal networks.

-India-US group to address all implementation issues to speed up deployment of US origin nuclear reactors in India.

-India-US decide to renew framework agreement for defense cooperation for further 10 years.

-US to cooperate as knowledge partner for India’s planned National Defense University.

-Infrastructure platform to facilitate US and Indian firms in expanding infrastructure projects.

-US to be lead partner in developing Alahabad, Ajmer and Vizag as smart cities.

According to MEA spokesperson, bilateral ties on energy, defense, security, infrastructure were discussed between Narendra Modi and President Obama. Both leaders discussed global issues. The summit underwent in restricted format.

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: We both are committed to helping Afghanistan and improving our coordination in this area. We are serious about resolution of issus on both sides to enable civil nuclear energy cooperation to take off.

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi while speaking in joint address said: After India-US summit on Mars, we are meeting here on earth.

-Narendra Modi sought easier access for Indian service companies to the US economy during his talks with President Barack Obama.

-India’s food security concern at WTO needs solution, said Modi.

-Joe Biden said US is encouraged by PM Modi’s sense of purpose and commitment to the relationship.

-John Kerry said Mr PM(Narendra Modi), no matter how our warm our welcome here we are not going to be able to top the Madison Square Garden reception.
