Gujarat govt appoints IPS Neeraja Gotru as ADGP, Police Recruitment Board

Gandhinagar: In a recent administrative move, the Gujarat State Government has transferred Dr. (Ms.) Neeraja Gotru, IPS (GJ:1993), in the public interest with immediate effect. Dr. Gotru, who previously served as the Additional Director General of Police (Training) in Gandhinagar, has now been appointed to the vacant ex-cadre post of Additional Director General of Police at the Police Recruitment Board, Gandhinagar. This position has been created by downgrading the ex-cadre post of Director General of Police, Police Recruitment Board, Gandhinagar to Additional Director General of Police.
Additionally, Dr. Gotru will retain the charge of her previous role as the Additional Director General of Police (Training), Gandhinagar, until further orders are issued.
