Shahrukh, Deepika, Boman promote ‘Happy New Year’ in Ahmedabad(Video)

A team of upcoming Hindi entertainment film Happy New Year, including maker Farah Khan, actor Shahrukh Khan, actress Deepika Padukone, actors Boman Irani Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah were in Ahmedabad, Gujarat to interact with media persons about the film which is going to be released on 24th.

Happy New Year is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood action comedy-drama film directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film has an ensemble cast which includes, Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood and Jackie Shroff. The film will be distributed worldwide by Yash Raj Films.

This will be the third collaboration of Khan with the director; they previously worked on Main Hoon Na (2004) and Om Shanti Om (2007), the latter of which also featured Padukone as the female lead. The promos of the film revealed that it belongs to a new genre of musical heist. The film is scheduled to be released on Diwali, 24 October 2014 in three different languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

During the interaction with media, Shahrukh said he believes in promotion of film because film show is something for which a movie goer makes payment in advance, and he/she is not going to get his money back if the film fails to entertain him/her, and therefore it is a duty of film makers that they introduce their film to viewers through wide promotion.

Shahrukh said very few people know the inside business of cinema, all he wants is that his film should reach everybody, and business will follow.
