The Prime Minister during his visit to the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia was given a presentation on the Integrated Biofuels Project, under which cutting-edge, collaborative research is being carried out as part of the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund Grand Challenge Initiative. He visited the glasshouse at the University, where iron-fortified bananas are being developed, which could prove very useful in developing countries where iron-deficiency affects a large number of people.
