Javdekar to attend Wastech in Gandhinagar, Online application/clearance platform of GPCB to be launched

Union Minister for Environment and Forest Prakash Javdekar will be in Gujarat capital on Friday to attend Wastech International Summit and Expo.
A newly developed XGN software of Gujarat Pollution Control Board(GPCB) will be launched on this occasion.
Through XGN software, industrial units will be able to file applications and receive online clearances. Reports of discharged water and air samples will also be available online through this platform. 38 types of communications that take place between GPCB and industrial units will be available via SMS through this software.
A new mobile application of GPCB will also be launched on this occasion.
Waste material like plastic,paper etc generated during this three-day long event will be divided as per its category and reused after recycling. Not only this but the details of waste generated during summit will be available online.
Total 60 speakers including 14 international speakers and 1500 delegates are going to attend this event.
Seminars during the event will discuss subjects like waste and resource management, integrated water management, waste management in construction sector, industrial waste-water and land remediation management, innovative approaches to waste management, corporate sustainability, opportunities in waste management, Dutch waste management technology, environment governance – role of ICT, E-waste management, financial engineering for waste management projects, co-processing of waste.
Finland and Holland are partner countries of this seminar while Victoria state in Australia is partner state.
