No two memorials can be compared, memorials of Shivaji and Sardar Patel both will be grand: Fadnavis

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said both the proposed memorials- that of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Arabian sea off Mumbai and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s in Gujarat will be gigantic.
Talking to reporters in reply to a query about how different Shivaji Maharaj’s memorial will be from Sardar Patel’s, Fadnavis said, “No two memorials can be compared.
Both Shivaji Maharaj’s memorial in Maharashtra and that of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Gujarat will be grand in nature.”
He was speaking to media after addressing the Brihan Maharashtra Sammelan here. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan was also present on the occasion.
Fadnavis said, just on the lines of the Centre’s ‘Make in India’ programme, his government would launch ‘Make in Maharashtra’ campaign to generate employment in the state.
On the issue of alleged corruption in the construction of dams in Maharashtra, the Chief Minister said the government has decided to probe all these allegations by constituting an SIT.
