GSPC gets PNGRB authorization to lay gas pipeline network in Kutch

Gujarat government run Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation(GSPC) Gas company has received authorization to lay gas pipeline network in Kutch(West) area after competitive bidding process conducted by PNGRB, Delhi.

Sharing this detail, state Energy Minister Shri Saurabh Patel said that in next 25 years, about Rs. 601 crore worth of investment will be made to lay gas pipeline network in 14,042 sqkm area to supply gas to 1,66,000 home users, various commercial units, small and medium scale industries and CNG stations. He said GSPC pipe network touches southern most part of Gujarat at Umargam, and now it will touch the northern most part in Kutch.

Shri Saurabh Patel further said that GSPC group through its three CGD companies – GSPC Gas, Gujarat Gas and Sabarmati Gas – supplies gas to over million houses through pipeline in Gujarat. He said addition of Kutch(West) area will take company one step ahead.

Kutch(West) areas to be covered by Gas pipeline network:

Bhuj city(urban): Ghanshyamnagar, Ashapurnagar, Madhapara, Sanjognagar, Mirjapar, Sukhpar

Mundra city(urban): Umiyanagar, Maheshnagar, Mahavirnagar, Rushabhnagar

Bhuj(rural): Khavda, Dinara, Baladia Kera, Lodai, Deshalpar

Mundra(rural): Moti Bhujpar, Bhadresar, Jarpara

Mandvi: Mandvi, Bidada, Ghadhshisha, Maska, Mota Bhadia, Durgapar

Nakhatrana: Nakhatrana, Bibar, Gadni, Jadodar

Abdasa: Naliya, Bhanda, Vinzan, Jakhau, Mothla

Lakhpat: Lakhpat, Panandhro, Dayapar, Baranda
