Reliance organises Dayro in Jamnagar for cleanliness awareness

In an attempt to take forward Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream project ‘Clean India Campaign’ Reliance Industries Ltd organized a lok dayro with ‘Raj Mane Lagyo Swachhatano Rang’ in three villages surrounding the company’s refinery.
The lok daryo was organized under guidance of RIL’s group senior vice president Mr. Dhanraj Nathwani. The cultural programme was organized from December 18 to December 20 in Kanalusa, Padana and Moti Khavdi villages.
A huge number of villages from other villages also gathered to watch the programme. Lok Dayro was organized under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). RIL has been organizing sanitation campaign in the villages daily which includes village cleaning and pesticide spreading.
It is important to create awareness among people for developing good habits of hygiene maintenance which leads to better health. The dayro witnessed performances of famous folk artists like Shri Bihari Hemu Gadhvi,
Shri Hareshdan Gadhvi, Smt. Jayshriben Pandya, Shri Popatbhai Maldhari and others. The artists conveyed cleanliness and hygiene message to the audience in effective way. Plays based on cleanliness and sanitation themes were also performed. The villagers also lauded the campaign.
The local leaders, office-bearers, a huge number of villagers attended the programme and welcomed the company’s efforts. The programme also witnessed presence of RIL’s CSR department officials. The company will continue organizing such events for creating awareness among masses on cleanliness and other subjects.
