Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs today addressed a press conference in Gandhinagar on the sidelines of ongoing Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebration at Mahatma Mandir here. There were two Gujarat related mentions.
-As Sugarcane is very important crop in Guyana, the Guyana President told Indian Prime Minister that he wanted to study Sugarcane initiatives here. The Prime Minister suggested him to visit cooperatives in Valsad, Gujarat.
-Vice Premier of Mauritius told Indian Prime Minister that his ancestors were from Kutch in Gujarat. Vice Premier invited Prime Minister Modi to grace the function of national day of Mauritius on 12 March this year.
