Ensure fishermen’s boats are digitally equipped:Maharashtra CM

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today directed officials to ensure that boats of fishermen are equipped with digital devices for monitoring of movement.
According to an official, Fadnavis gave the instructions while speaking at a meeting of Maritime Board here this evening.
The meeting discussed development of various ports and related topics like road development, rail connectivity, infrastructure, land policy, policy issues, corporate social responsibility, cargo and passenger services.
The chief minister has instructed to speed up the developmental activities and infrastructure building in the port area, the official said.
