Hansot clashes: 8 held for killing of two Hindu youths

Bharuch Police has so far arrested 8 persons in case pertaining to killing of two Hindu youths on 14 January in Hansot village.Rashtriya Swayamsevak Santh(RSS) had in a statement in January said that both youths Pratik Maganbhai Patel and Sandip Chhanabhai Patel who were killed by a group of local Muslims were part of cadre of RSS.
Police had arrested 210 persons in riot cases following clashes between Hindus and Muslims after killing of two Hindu youths Over 110 of them had received bail.
Seven persons Mehmood alias Baporiyo, Yunus alias Tiger, Ismael Umarji Multani, Mohammad Nazim, Ibrahim Karim Khokhar, Naeem Abdul Majid Sheikh, Arfkhan Pathan, Mohammad Ibrahim Khokhar abd Abdul Kadar Shabbir Ahmed Kanuga are arrested for murder of two Hindu youths. They are in custody.
One Baduddin alias Bhaiyo Asluddin’s involvement was found in this case. However he was on run after the incident. Police got details of his movement between Mumbai and Ankleshwar. A trap was laid and he was arrested on Thursday night at around 10.30 pm. Badru is believed to be involved in other crimes too.
