Vadodara district Police is in search of GUJCOMASOL Chairman Natvarlal Patel. During the investigation of urea scam, police has found that Natu was mastermind of the scam. Police has gathered evidences against Natu.

Natu has gone underground. He has filed anticipatory bail plea in Vadodara Sessions Court to escape arrest.

Natu who wears Gandhi topi and Khadi dress has been involved in several scams in past. Gujarat Congress had given him ticket to contest assembly general election in year 2012 from Mahesana. However BJP candidate Nitinbhai Patel defeated him.

Natu or Natvarlal P Patel who is better known as Natu Pitambhar is heading GUJCOMASOL which decides how much urea is needed to be supplied to which cooperative group of farmers across Gujarat.

According to Vadodara district police chief Sharad Singhal, Natu used to send huge urea stock to kisan mandli where least stock of urea was required. The additional stock was stored in a farm house where it was packed in different bags and diverted to chemical factories for making of rasin.

The entire scam came to light when police raided Yogendra Solanki’s farm in Anastu village near Karjan in central Gujarat and found huge stock of urea being diverted to industries. Karjan police has arrested 11 in this case including Dabhoi Agriculture Produce Market Committee(APMC) Chairman Dilip Nagji. Police has filed case under 25A, fertilizers act, sensitive commodity act, 467, 468, 471, 120B.

Editor’s note: Enough is enough. Natu and his gang is villain of our economy and our farmers. Tax payers work hard and give share of their income to government. Government pays debt and use available money to give subsidy to farmers for fertilizer. Corrupt people in various states like Natu Pitambar divert subsidized and therefore cheaper urea to greedy industrialists. Karjan Police and Gujarat government deserves compliments for arrest of APMC Chairman Dilip Nagji(BJP) and for making case against person at top Natu Pitambar. Such scamsters are blot on Gujarat and they must be put behind bar for so long time that other scamsters are feared.
