Gujarat govt to send five players to USA for Sports training

Under Shaktidut programme of ‘Sports Authority of Gujarat’, five talented players from Gujarat who have performed well in national level competitions will be sent to America for international level training in Sports.
Raj Bhanvadia, Aum Saxena, Dolfi Sarang, Shiven Brahmbhatt and Rajindersinhgh Anand are five players who are to be sent to Aspire Academy in America for three month global level training – to be given by international coach Gabriela Verdugo.
Gujarat government will spend Rs. 6,89,750 for each of five players. In addition to this, players in 1-4 rank are given assistance of Rs. 11.39 lakh, while player on 5th rank has been offered assistance of Rs. 8.89 lakh by Sports Authority of Gujarat.
Selected five players will go for training on 30th March.
Aspire academy has Olympic level swimming pool and training center. It has also a dedicated nutrition court to supply international level food and nutrition. The academy offers latest medical facilities, sports medicine network and performance therapy.
