Several countries seek India’s help in evacuating nationals from Nepal

A number of countries have sought India’s help in evacuating their nationals from earthquake-hit Nepal where it was leading a massive relief and rescue operation.
“We have received requests from various countries to rescue their citizens. So far 30 foreign nationals have been brought back,” Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar said.
When asked about the names of the countries, he did not give the details.
India launched a massive relief and rescue operation in Nepal after the country was hit by the devastating earthquake on Saturday that has killed at least 4,000 people and injured over 8,000.
