Nadiad
Central Gujarat town Nadiad today observed complete strike against recent incident which has been largely identified as ‘Love Jihad’ in which a 20-year-old girl and 42-year-old bootlegger Masum Kalu Mahida have eloped togather. Locals are concerned about this incident because Masum has two wives at present. His age is double compared to a missing girl. Family of Hindu Patidar(Patel) girl fears that Masum may wed Hindu student girl and make her his third wife.
Locals in Nadiad marched to Collector office and submitted memorandum in this regard. They also approached district police chief.
According to Ketanbhai Patel, local Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) leader, Pij-road based Krushnanagar society resident and infamous bootlegger Masum Kalu Mahida trapped a Hindu girl in Love Jihad and eloped on 11th of June at around noon. Girl’s father has filed complaint against Masum Mahida.
VHP organized Chintan Shibir in Mahadev Mandir campus of Pij road for action plan against growing incidents of Love Jihad.
BJP leader Asmakhan Pathan who is from Nadiad said there’s apparent malafide intention of Mahida in this case as he has two wives and he is 43, and he has now fled with a girl who is in her 20s.
