Morari Bapu presents Zaverchand Meghani Award to Joravarsinh Jadav

Veteran folk literature author, Shri Joravarsinh Jadav today was presented Shri Zaverchand Meghani Award from Meghani Lok Sahitya Kendra of Saurashtra University in Rajkot. Shri Morari Bapu presented the award to Shri Jadav in presence of ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Nanubhai Vanani, artist Bhikhudanbhai Gadhvi, Shahbuddin Rathod among others. Shri Jadav has written tonnes of literature on Gujarat’s folk arts, traditions, folk music, folk music instruments, folk entertainment and more through his organization Gujarat Lok Kala Foundation. Shri Jadav has been a father figure of many poor folk artists who struggle to get work, admiration and respect in society.
