Clamour over Ram temple stone issue unfortunate, court never banned such activity: Giriraj

Union Minister for state for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Giriraj Singh today said that the clamour over bringing stones meant for Ram temple in Ayodhya was unfortunate.
Talking to newsmen here today the firebrand BJP leader from Bihar said that the work of carving the stone for the temple in Ayodhya was going on for years and the court has not put a ban on it or bringing stones there.
‘It was the sentiment of lakhs of devotees of lord Ram that his temple should be built in Ayodhya but some people who never say anything about others (on issues related to other religions) are now making uproar about the stones. it is really unfortunate. We know that the matter is sub-judice but the court has never put a ban on bringing shilas (stones),’ the minister, who was known for his hard-hitting statements that often created controversies, said.
To a query related to the alleged DDCA scam, Mr. Singh said that Congress President Rahul Gandhi who himself was on bail in a big scam (National Herald case) has no right to speak about corruption issue. He also said that Delhi chief minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal has become a tool of the Congress party.
