Make in India: Two top GoI officials on Gujarat visit on Saturday

Two top officers of Government of India will be visiting Gujarat ahead of the ‘Make in India week’ event.
Secretary Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion Shri Amitabh Kant (IAS) and Joint Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Smt Kalpana Awasthi(IAS) will be in Gujarat on Saturday in connection with upcoming ‘Make in India’ week event of central government.
Apart from their other engagements they are also scheduled to interact with media persons.
Make In India is a major national initiative, designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development, protect intellectual property and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure.
Make In India week is a flagship event that is aimed at propelling the Indian economy by forging enormous global engagement with Indian industry in the form of partnership and investment.
