Somnath

8th convocation function of Somnath Sanskrit University was presided by Governor of Gujarat Shri O.P.Kohli at Somnath in which 18 students were awarded Vidhaya varidhi(PhD), 8 Tatvacharya (Mphil), 134 Acharya(MA-2_, 855 PGDCA, 87 Shikshashastri(BEd), 288 Shastri(BA). Thus total 1390 students were awarded degrees. With this an International Sanskrit Conference was opened. Santram Mandir Nadiad Mahant Shri Ramdas Maharaj and Rajasthan based Dr Rajeshwari were awarded Vidhyavachaspati(D.litt).
